i used to be so addicted to my blog but god only knows what happened to all that! blame it onr orkut and facebook! now slowly ppl have got fed up of even that and so...im back to this! he he he.
well i was quite startled when i noticed that its been a whole entire year since i posted on the log. jeez! and so much has changged since then.
now im in my third year....its slowly gettin a lil hectic in college mostly cause ive kinda realised that its high time i start leanin some stuff cause im gonna finish in about a years time and that freks me out! so to prearemself for hat..im kin thing a LITTLE seriously. shud get into the groove soon. im hoping.
in other news...The Dark Knight has been on everybody's mind lately! more about that in the next post!

Was watchin a few episodes of friends yesterday and i was jus wonderin if i'd ever have the kind of fun with my friends like what those ppl were havin. no not really. was talkin about it to my friend. something like that can never happen. damn.
Im at least greatful dat i have some awesome friends! politics among us are sometimes inevitable but thats just normal i guess. we all become ok in no time! i've never really bonded to friends as much i've bonded to my college friends. sure sure i had lotsa friends in my skool and stuff but i guess i wudn't have ever trusted my life with them. i've bonded so well with my college friends in a very mature level. once i leave college i don think ill get too friendly with my batchmates durin my postgraduation. i heard that never really happens cause each one's pretty busy with their own lives.
i dread the day my college's gonna end. i have 3 more years to go but u know how time flies. ill be over before i know it and it'll be hard. ill miss all these guys. i guess this happens to everybody durin their college life...wonder what they did?
i somehow hope my gang doesn't fall apart. i love the way everything is right now...everything's so cool! and i love it! these guys are super awesome! and im gonna miss them with every tiny muscle fibre in my heart. lets wait and see...time will tell.

Its been so long! n i've become so lazy! too lazy to even blog....i have something to blame it on though....ORKUT!!! the thing's a killer! it just......well....kills u!!!! im jus too addicted to that thing....trying to get out of it though. lets see.

my life has changed....a lot! in so many ways...first of all i've shifted my room and now i have much more space(and porbably a lil more respect) in my house. college has been pretty hectic in second year now. my schedule is more or less the same everyday in college....the second yr subjects suck!!!! however college is fun...i love goin to college! don think i've bunked without a reason for months now! my friends have become so much more cooler too! love spendin time with them...and of course love spendin time with someone special too! :)

so much has changed........................for the better of course!

i sometimes feel more responsible these days...i think a lot more before doin things. something's wrong here...probably jus cause im 19 ;) he he he...

like i said.....SO MUCH HAS CHANGED! and i love every single bit of it!

well yeah....u guessed right. me. pretty sad huh? well don blame me for not blogging for sooo long!!!! Blame it on Orkut!!! orkut orkut orkut!!!! everybody's into it!! (including me). whatever......

My last post speaks about my exams....well they're all done with....got through all of 'em and now into second year! :) second year is a lot more cool and casual...somehow nobody seems to be worried about anything anymore! the professors....exams...blah blah! what's interesting about second year is our hospital postings! its pretty interesting and sometimes there's a whole lotta fun in it. anyway....damn...nothing to talk about here....i jus wanted to post something to resume blogging again....and now that i finaly took this step....will resume again....see ya guys! peace.

Well i know how long its been since i actually posted...was quie busy in the beginning of the month with my sisters wedding(which went on really well)...after that i as really busy for another 3 weeks sleepin 28 hours a day and takin small naps durin the remainin hours (if any)...

Its sucha horrible feelin dat u have when exams are nearing....you feel guilty to go ot cause you think you'll be waisting too much time which you could use with ur books rather. On the other hand if u stay at home...u don study. damn.
Exams are on august first and thats all i wanna talk about it. thank you.

Apart from all the sleepin and napping....i tried something really silly. tried playin WONDERFUL TONIGHT BY ERIC CLAPTON and recorded it too... here it is...check it out! and yea i know i can't sing....

why does everybody i know doin engineering wants to eventually enter the IT industry???

why is this happening? why do ppl decide to specialise in a field of engineering....study for 4 years and eventually decide not to continue with that and eventually enter the IT industry???? Bio tech for example.....leads u through a course that makes u a professional in the very basics of all life and teaches u diferent ways of experimenting with DNA...Genetic codes and what not.they are trained in the course of 4 yrs to specialise in their subjects.....for what?.... to eventually end up with software engineering?? is it the money that tempts them so much or what??? i do agree the IT industry does give off generous amounts of cash as soon as the engineers get the jobs but why dont ppl take some time off and realise dat doin a PG in their own course would probably help them a lot more and would even eventually lead to bigger paycheques....they could specialise in their own fields and get better technical jobs connected to bigger companies rite?????? could somebody help me out here.....was speakin with a friend of mine which made me take time out and think about this.......

Many of u guys probably have cd or dvd writers and most of u probably use Nero Burning Rom cause its like one of the best burnin softwares around...ever tried to analyze the name? nero-burning-rom??? it makes sense right?? assuming Nero is the company name, Burning would indicate burning or writing discs...and Rom should stand for the cd rom or the dvd rom...it makes perfect sense......right??? Wrong! it has a pun in it.

Now here's the cool part...the name happens to be something way cooler than u think!
Nero stands for the Roman Emperor Nero who ruled the roman empire for fourteen years. On the night of July 18th...64 AD, There was a fire that broke out in rome which was later called the Great Fire of Rome. This fire lasted for about a week at thousands of people had lost their homes and families. It was said that during the fire, Nero stood in his palace, watched the flames and sang The sack of Ilium which is an epic of Greek Literature that depicts the Trojan Wars. Eventually word had spread about this and people started suspecting Nero of starting the fire himself since he always proposed for a better built Rome and had his own plans of rebuilding rome during his rule. A few examples of insiginificant incidents that can piss ppl off real bad...

I hate it when i suddenly wake up and look at my alarm clock to find that i still have a few more minutes for my alarm to ring...im so damn lazy...i hate to get up earlier than i should...but the problem is...if i go back to sleep...it'll take my sleep filled head at least half an hour of alarm ringin for me to get up...Damn...how i hate such situations...im in sucha confused state! "To sleep or not to sleep" dat is the question...

U start drinkin a cup of coffee early in the mornin. there ain't no sugar in it. since u jus got up...ur probably too lazy to walk all the way to kitchen again to get some sugar, neither do u feel like disturbin the person who made the coffee for u. so u actually gulp down the tasteless bitter coffee slowly only to discover undissolved sugar at the bottom of the cup.

Finally....after so long...after all the endless hours of dreaming...imagining and even pretending...a few friends and I are gonna meet up today and Jam to see if we can make something happen...and well if something DOES happen...we'll perform for the next college function whatever it may be(i assume that would be sometime in the near future). For now...its me(guitars), Kaushik(vocals) and Harry(keyboards). Kaushik cant sing and I cant play. so its upto harry to baiscally save the day!!(that rhymes by the way). We'll be tryin out a few songs from Green Day, Aqualung, Conway Twitty and Coldplay. I jus hope it clicks and everything works out...with a little help from my friends.

I happen to be a very strong believer in spirits, ghosts, heaven, hell, demons and strongly believe in the fact that they influence life in a lotta ways. although im supposed to be a man of science and supposed to always look at the scientific aproach towards anything....i still strongly believe in the above mentioned "things".

There are firm reasons for my belief which i don really wish to share. some of u ppl might know what im talkin about but i have enough of personal reasons to believe in the existence in the paranormal world. a loved one will never leave u forever even after his or her death and u can be absolutely sure he or her is always there. i also feel disturbed spirits can never rest until whatever they wanted is totally accomplished.

I went for this movie today...The Exorcism of Emily Rose. Most of u guys would have probably seen "The Exorcist" or probably "Exorcist-The Beginning". Although this movie was mostly the same thing. i.e:the devil possessing a girl and a preis tries to drive it away and stuff......There was one particular line that flashed before and after the movie that made me quite curious.

"BASED ON A TRUE STORY"

Walkin outta the theatre...i was actually wonderin how the whole thing could actually happen to a young girl in real life. Thats when i decided to study a bit on the facts. Thats when i discovered, Anneliese Michel. The young girl from Bavaria, Germany.

She was a normal girl who led a normal life until one day when she was 16. She felt there were forces acting on her...that didn't let her call for help and paralysed her. She was considered Epileptic and was admitted to a hospital. The "attacks" didn't stop. She began seeing Demonic Faces in her daily prayers and was slowly being taken over. since none of the medical attention she was getting seemed to help, her parents decided to perform an exorcism on her. By this time, anneliese started eating spiders and coal since the demons didn't let her eat normal food. after all this, the church finally agreed to conduct the exorcism on her. During these exorcisms, she revealed that it wasn't one, but six demons were inside her. Lucifer, Nero, Cain, Judas, Legion and Belial. All the exorcisms were audio taped and they also recorded the demons arguing with eah other as to who would stay in her body and who wouldn't.Anneliese talked about wanting to die in order to save the souls of others. She stopped eating, rejected all medical help, and relied solely upon the priests to deliver her from the demons she believed were attacking her. Her knees ruptured after about 600 exorcisms due to the genuflections she had to do(kneeling down on the floor in prayer). She suffered from malnutrition and didn't even have strength to walk but during the exorcisms, she would sometimes need to be tied up in chains as there were sudden bursts of violence leading to her destroying pictures of christ and crucifixes in the house. She eventually died out of starvation during one of the exorcisms.

All this makes one helluva fiction story. but it ain't one. Believe it or not...it happened. It happened way before any of us were even born which is why nobody even knows about it. Whether or not she was possessed by demons is open to debate, but nothing can diminish the tragedy of her passing.Her grave became, and remains, a place of pilgrimage and religious importance to those who believe that the brave girl lost her life fighting the forces of darkness.

While The Exorcism of Emily Rose bears the legend "based on a true story," respect must be given to the actual people and events on which the story is taken. Audiences should not forget, while they are being entertained, that no matter what their beliefs, Anneliese Michel, the real "Emily Rose," was no fictional character.

Well i finally got my phone about 2 days back. Did quite a lotta research on a whole truckload of phones and finally decided on the MOTOROLA SLVR L7. (click on the link for info) What can i say? the phone.........ROCKS!!!!!! im in love with it!!! it actually jus released less then a week ago and i check it out at the tata open when one of my friends had it. so after extensive browsing i finally decided to go for it!! its super sleek...got gr8 looks and style. it comes with a 128mb memory card which is very useful...its got a very good still camera and a decent video camera.The prob with the phone is dat its sooo thin...i cant even feel it in my pocket!!! its actually a candybar version of the motorazr except the fact that this one had expandable memory and a good mp3 player too. Motorola has improved the user interface a lot which was what held them back cause their phones were a bit complicated to use compare to the nokia. all that's changed now and i got used to the whole thing in less than a day! another useful thing about the phone is dat it can be connected to the comp with the provided data cable and the phone can be operated thru the comp..i.e:sendin and recieving messages...phonebook...etc. there's loads of more stuff that im discoverin and so overall...im in love!!! great phone...great stuff...

Tidbit:One HUGE relief...my classmates dont borrow my phone and keep it with them the whole day as they used to do when my N-Gage was around....Phew!!!

A Happy Ending!

So Chennai Open's finally over...Jlubicic (pronounced as lubichich)beat reigning champion Moya in jus two sets. Goodbye chennai open for another one year...oh ya...and goodbye good lookin chennai girls who gather there too. Jlubichich actually played his semi-finals just about 5 hours before the finals and was gettin whipped giving a few match points to his opponent but managed to recover in the end...everybody actually thought he was exhausted but he proved each and every one of them wrong...he kicked moya's ass in the second set after a close tie breaker in the first set...he jus kept serving aces consecutively...200kmph...224kmph...221kmph.....all the time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he was serving like a damn bull!!(understatement)...anyway... its sucha super feelin when one gets to see world class professionals playin the game with their might, endurance and perfection. but actually both the semis were better than the finals cause both the matches were too tooooo close for both the players and eventually only one stood tall. I managed to click some decent pics on the quarter finals and the semi finals but time came for the finals....i turned on the camera....battery dead. damn.nothin more to say about dat.(and don laugh at my stupidity). but overall...the great feeling and enthusiasm i had these days is over and its jus another countdown till the next chennai open which im 100% sure is gonna have better players and better matches....lets wait and see....only time will tell.

On a entirely different note:

im plannin to change my phone...was wonderin of quite a few models...somehow even though i know nokia is simply THE best....i wanna try something else for a change..got too used to nokia...its user interface...and the long faced jerk at the service centre. u guys got any suggestions?? cause im open to anything...i do have one phone on mind...but im doin some research on it all over the web before i make up my mind. so lemme know...Oh wait...i forgot to mention the drool worth new Merc CLS dat was displayed at the chennai open...didn't bother to ask for its price...my mind cant tolerate those levels of shock...and they also had The Mercedes Benz Bicycle on disply!! it lookied so awsome!!! 75,000 bucks!!! dats like 50 times more expensive than a regular cycle...wish they allowed me on a test ride....they wud have waited for all eternity for me to return...he he he....

Chennai Open...Day 4

I already missed the first 3 days of the Chennai open thanks to my god damn anatomy internals...exam was over today and i had to go for the matches...went there straight from college...thankfully vikram and akshay bought me tickets...one of akshay's friends had come along too...if i remember right this is my 7th chennai (previously tata) (and gold flake before tata) open...anyway...i walked after the first set was over between Ivan ljubicic and Jiri Vanek...it was a pleasure to watch professional tennis live again after quite some time....Jiri Vanek has been here before... he's a pretty potential player...and Ivan is the top seeded guy this time...9th in the world...i had my camera with me...i have no idea why...but vikram and i took ONLY pictures of all the players serving...serving....and more serving...we were sittin in great seats right near the action...superb views.... i took so many pics and all of them came out ok....Ljubicic won the match eventually after playin pretty casually. Next up was Indian Rohan Bopanna vs Giles Muller....wat a boring match!!!! Giles muller was the guy who beat Roddick in the U.S open last year so we kinda knew wat to expect....he breezed over rohan in jus 2 sets....i have to admit though....Rohan Bopanna's improved a lot....but it wasn't of any use....in this match at least...Then came the lighter side of the tournament that takes place every year...the Mercedes remote control car races between Muller and a lil kid!!! thats actually a lotta fun and its nice to see the players chill out for sometime....i always hoped to be the lucky kid all these years but damn...im not a kid anymore. we then took a lil break and went to check out the stalls in the stadium and went for the usual speed gun test...but of course it wasn't so "usual" this time...There was another star apart from the tennis professionals...Akshay whacked those serves and broke the record of the day...lucky guy...They gave him a certificate and all....couldn't believe it myselff...but the proof's here...so who's gonna argue?
So anyway....after we had our share of laughs...we went back to the match...Paradon Scrichappan vs Marc Giquel.....WHAT----A----MATCH!!!!!!!!!!!both of them seriously battled it out....their groundstrokes were simply superb!!!! Endless rallies and hardly any net play ..Schrichappan's power was kinda dominating the game but in no way was Giquel wimping out...he fought every single point...the match was so good that i didn't even distract myself by takin out the camera to get Giquel's picture...but seriously...that guy's definitely gonna come up...of heck of a talented guy with tons of determination!!! It was a 3 setter and eventually Schrichappan won but hats off to Giquel for the fight....if this is the kinda excitement i experienced on day 4....the quarters...semis...and the finals are gonna rock! cant wait...will talk about tomorrow's matches...obviously tomorrow....

It all started yesterday when i was readin an article on Kiruba's Blog. Google celebrated Louis Braille's Birthday by changing their regular Google logo with a braille version of it. i thought it was pretty cool and was very nice of the google guys to come up with something like that. well in case some of u guys aren't aware...braille is the system with which blind people read...it works on the principle of using raised dots which represent alphabets. i've actually once seen a blind kid readin a book in braille and trust me...he was fast! Braille is a wonderful system that's changed a lot in the lives of the blind. its expanded their capabilities and possibilities and thanks to the basis of such systems....blind people even have regular jobs these days. Louis Braille invented this system way back in 1809 and its still being used all over the world even today. After i took some time off to read all about this system and its inventor. I DECIDED TO LEARN BRAILLE TOO. i know that could sound silly but i want to learn this magnificent system. took some time off and managed to get the notes and learnt a few alphabets...my dad said he'll get me a few books written in braille too...im 100% sure even if i master the system i can never do it like them...they are a lot more gifted....talented...determined and ambitious than any of us...May god bless all of them. will update on my learning status later....

2005 was a pretty eventful year for me in many many ways...i wish 2006 improves whatever needs to be improved in me and hope it enhances whatever im good at. so anyway....my new years resolution for the year 2006:

Gross Anatomy...

Its not called gross anatomy just cause its gross...Gross anatomy is the study of the form of structures that can be seen with the naked eye. All u ppl shud know that im in first year of medical school. I was surprised to know that quite a few ppl don know something very very interesting about medical skool.Anatomy. Anatomy is a subject that teaches us structure.our body's structure. Physiology teaches us function and Biochemistry teaches us....well....im yet to figure that out. Anyway...back to anatomy.practicals...was surprised that nobody knew about cadaver dissection(dead body dissection) that we have everyday in college first thing in the morn. i know it sounds damn disgusting but its actually not that bad once you're used to it.we preferably dont use gloves. For the benefit of those who wanna read more and see more....continue....for those who are already grossed out....stop.

Yes....i've actually uploaded pics for ur priviledge. Picture 1 is an entire cadaver(dead body). well...not exactly an entire cadaver cause there's no head. don ask me how...it was jus missing on the first day itself. its a female cadaver.we have 9 such cadavers(the others have heads) This was what we saw on day 1...one girl fainted...(as usual) but the boys were ok..we were busy clicking snaps with our camera phones and sendin were them to each other. So..back to the topic...ppl always say dead bodies decay right? then how come these dont???... if u look carefully on the upper part of the right thigh....u can probably notice a small inscission or a small cut. They do this to enter the femoral vein...once entered....they introduce a tube inside and inject loads of saline(salt solution) from a machine into this vein so that it goes to the heart and into the rest of the body from there. the purpose of doing this is to remove all the clotted blood from inside all the arteries...veins....and everywhere else. So technically this step cleans the body. The next step....through the same femoral vein...they inject loads of formalin(the chemical used to preserve dead stuff) into the body and again...this enters all the arteries and the veins...this helps in preserving the body for its long time use.....one year at least. Once this is done...the body is kept for a few weeks aside( i don know why) and then its ready for dissection!!! yaay!!! Tidbit:This was the first pic we took and got caught doin it too.

This was taken about 2 months back.somewhere in october.To the left bottom corner of the screen...u can see the head. right next to the head u can see the shoulder...but no hand. the hands were cut off once we finished dissecting it completely....once they're cut...they're preserved for our practical exams where we gotta identify parts in the dissected body.If u notice on the upper part of the screen...the legs are dissected too. the flaps that u see on the right lower part of the screen are none other than flaps of skin...yes...skin. The whitish part of the flaps are just some pieces of fat and the lower layers of the skin. The First few layers of the muscles on the chest were removed earlier and what u can superficially see now are the deeper muscles of the chest....the intercoastal muscles between the ribs and the serratus anterior towards the right extremities. Don ask me what that pink thing in the centre is....i got no idea.

Ok...zoomed in on some lower limb dissection....if you've noticed...the toes haven't been dissected as yet...u actually cant identify much in this cause even the superficial layer of muscles were removed before i got an opportunity to get this picture...all u can see are some tendons(the structures by which muscles begin and terminate...eg:the structures that are on top of ur knuckles...keep moving ur finger and u can see them move on ur knuckles and on the backside of ur palm). The only obvious muscle is the soleus(i hope i got the spelling rite) which is commonly called the calf muscle...u can see it hanging from the right leg on the centre of the screen between both the legs.apart from that...nothin much.

Another lower limb dissection pic. nothing can be prominently noticed in the pic expept the flexor digitorum longus tendon which can be seen on the left leg.they look like thin ropes jus below the undissected part of the toes. well thats it i guess...right now we almost finished dissecting the entire abdomen in college...those would gross u out...so ill keep them for later...hope u guys enjoyed this insight on anatomy and dissection...ppl might get grossed out but trust me....its the most interestin thing on earth to see how wonderfully our bodies have been designed and how compact everything is right inside us...cant believe we have so much right inside us...anyway...lemme know what u guys think...have fun...take care...peace.

Thats what KING KONG had to say like a hundred times durin the movie...i hope he finally memorised the line. Its 2:10am right now....yes ppl...yet again i've seen one more preview show...saw it before the world did.KING KONG!!!!!!
The movie was really good....Peter Jackson proved himself once again for the marvellous artist that he is....Stunning graphics and mesmerising special effects. The effects on the island where they find KONG were simply superb! and nothing could possibly beat the monsters...creatures and the natives of the island....they were amazing....disgusting...scary....and marvellous.i know its a bit tough to figure out...but once u see the movie...you'll get the picture.Kong is a character that'll hit u right in the heart...his expressions and feelings were portrayed very well. Jack Black played his part very well...he's the selfish movie producer that exploits Kong to get rich. As usual he starts of with his usual funny stuff...but he turns serious into the movie and the true meaning to his character reveals itself.Great work by Adrian Brody too...the lover who went upto every extent to get his girl back from Kong.Hats off to Andy Serkis for his role as kong...must have suffered from a terrible back-ache once shooting was done...summing up...great movie...a bit long(3 hours without the interval)...its definitely a must see...i had actually not seen the original version shot in 1933...have no idea how they made this stuff happen back then. The ONLY complaint about this movie is that i personally felt that the lets say "romantic" scenes between Kong and Naomi Watts were a BIT exaggerated.But seriously....watch it! awaiting ur comments on my site...till then....peace..cause ::yawn:: i gotta go sleep now.

yawn! its 2 am...just got back.....from HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE...THE PREVIEW SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a movie.....SIMPLY STUNNING....FABULOUS...MESMERISING...i was just staring at the screen with my mouth open the whole time....the thing is...since we are 12 hrs ahead of the united states....the first show here will actually be before the first show there....to top that off...i saw the movie a whole day earlier!!! so im like one of the first few privileged people who saw the movie first in the world!!!! numero uno!!!
i wont post a proper review probably untill saturday cause some of my friends who by chance read this blog before watchin the movie might slaughter me painfully. the only thing sad in the movie was that they cut practically 200 pages from the book and did not make many scenes....cut away characters and stuff........oh yes....one little thing ill spill out...its not a part of the story but anyway....THE GUY WHO ACTS AS VOLDEMORT IN THE MOVIE IS NONE OTHER THAN.........ROWAN ATKINSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 MR.BEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After a brief hiatus, im back again.coll life is goin on fine...but ill get to that later.
POTTER MANIA is back!!!!! the 4th movie releases here on friday and im bunkin college to catch the first show.thankfully its a worldwide release contrasting to the first few ones which released here way after the actual release.its good that most of the new movies are releasing here co-ordinating with the release abroad...anyway...im even tryin desperately for passes to catch the preview show.whatever happens...i gotta watch the movie before a certain someone sees it(i know ur readin this).the trailers look awsome and everybody's expectin quite a lot. more info on the movie here.

On a different note,

Hurricane muniyamma(well...the united states have rita and katrina....so i figured out someone's gotta name our hurricanes too!) finally left chennai. the rain was good while it lasted...cause we got hols in college...but its sad to see the plight of less fortunate ppl who's houses are still full of water pausing their usual life till they get over the mess.hope they get some decent help soon enough from whoever it may concern.

On another totally different note,

apart from all this goin on in the outside world...comin to me and my territory...things seem ok...studies seem to be gettin more hectic by the day...the first internal marks letter came homeyesterday ...thankfully i was lucky enough to find that trouble creating devil in the post box before my parents could discover it...phew! that was one prob solved. Wrote my second internals in physiology yesterday and got inside information from the professors that i passed....phew again! yet another problem solved. The exam time-table never ever seems to be ending....after one set of exams are over...no time to even breathe...we get just about enough time to inspire before the next set of exams are announced....which then lets us expire...sheesh...social life in coll is good....or should i say so far so good...???

Here are some well planned safety tips for this years diwali.....burstin crackers or usage of any form of explosives should preferably be done only after reading this post.....

1.Never ever light crackers too close to ur face....u might get tanned.

2.If u wanna find out what happens when u light crackers right next to ur face.............experiment on younger brothers....sisters....cousins.....or the irritating 8 yr old neighbour.

3.According to the french....Inflamable means NOT flamable.....so don go tryin to experiment with all ur linguistic skills....jus stick to plain ol' english when readin safety instructions.

4.Always wear loose clothes while burstin crackers....this rule actually implies only for good lookin ppl....cause if ur a bomb.....u might take in all the heat and explode too!

5.Since ur dealing with fire....always keep water ready..............cause you'll never really know when ur gonna feel thirsty...honestly...u wont...

6.Rockets should always be pointin vertically upwards and never downwards.....unless of course ur standin in the terrace and u see George Bush walkin by the street....well thats an exception.

All the rules mentioned....properly applied will let u guys celebrate a happy and "a not 100% safe" Diwali!!!!

No Im Not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i know thats what it looks like but its not true. im still the same ol' jobless lazy fatass(i think im livin like cartman) i've always been. god...there's so much happenin around me. firstly college. I PASSED IN ANATOMY!!!!!!!!!! BUNKED BIOCHEMISTRY!!!! AND IM SURE TO SCREW UP PHYSIOLOGY!!!!!!!! YAAY!!!!!!!.......i suck....seriously.
being in a class of 150 is so damn crazy.i still bump into people at the canteen and im like "hey....which course are u doin??" and he'll be like..."im ur classmate u punk!!!".....oops! don blame me! im still searchin for some good lookin girls in my class....yet to find them. where on earth am i gonna take time off to look at the guys??? i wanna post a couple o' pics of my college but i don have any as yet...will do it soon enough...

next....my buddy vinodh's dog ruby is not well and i want EACH AND EVERY ONE OF U readin this blog to take time off and wish for her health....she's an angel and i hope she gets well soon...

Since everyone's talkin about the bloggers vs IIPM issue....i wanna comment on dat too. the suckups at iipm and tryin to screw a couple of bloggers cause they apparently mentioned a few (truthful) things about them which i don wanna mention here cause i don wanna get into some deep shit myself and now the guys at iipm are busy sendin legal notices to the bloggers. little do they know....that the number of people supportin the bloggers are ten times the total strength in iipm! and the bloggers are all like "bring it on man!!!" cause they know iipm cant do a damn thing to them. more info on dat topic......here.

forgot to mention this....i finally got a set top box!!!!! whew! at last! i actually lost hope and even stopped begging. i even totally lost interest in television....now everyhtings back....lotsa changes been made on every channel....im goin through something like rehab to start watchin tv again...

Comin to movies....i don think anything interestin is goin on....saw island a few days back and loved the concept....its a very original idea but sadly it didn't do well in the states. i heard interpreter is good but haven't got to watch it. all potter fans are probably charged and waitin for goblet of fire to release. to be honest....i've still not seen the prisoner of azkaban...i kinda lost my craze for the potter series after they made us wait endlessly for book 5...but im sure the fourth movie shud be good and it'll probably be worth the hype.

the weather in chennai is finally gettin better....u ppl shud have noticed that on the weather report thingy on my site...its rainin cats n dogs n cows n deers.........................

But im sure there's not a single person on earth who wouldn't laugh their heads off watchin this one.....its really really nice. I know i know i know......i know its been like a few weeks since i posted anything on the site.....i don know if it'll be apt to make use of a very useful excuse...."i was busy!" but on the other hand...i don think i should. anyway...coll has started of with proper full time classes and stuff.the first one week was a bit stupid cause i hadn't got used to the crowd.....but now.....IM HAVIN A BLAST! its actually loads of fun....the ppl are nice and friendly and dats wat matters cause i now feel good.

The only thing i don like in my coll is the journey everyday...the silly bus comes at 6 30 in the morn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! god!!!! its become quite regular for me to chase the bus and manage to get in at sometime or the other every morn...

Ragging....well....yes! phew....im glad those seniors finally settled down......jackasses made me check all their heartbeats using my mobile phone's handsfree....shux.....i was a laughing stock in the bus...im actually lucky cause the seniors were pretty friendly and made us do jus some small stuff....im happy im not in one of my friends shoes cause he was made to eat grass!!!

JRO is finally over and it seems like the unwind centre is now swimming in money....smartasses....changed the moksha venue in the last min to the unwind centre itself and saved loads of cash in the process!!!! one band i enjoyed a lot was LBG...they played some new genre of music...they jus came on stage....had fun....played some real cool own compositions and went off...no major metal and stuff...they were good. the final show of course was MOKSHA.....i don think i need to speak about them cause my peanut brain cant think of dat many adjectives. sadly i cud not stay for the whole show....everyone wanted to see the gr8 christy playin lead guitars and so i got majorly smashed in between the crowd durin the show....i jus saw a few songs and cudn't take it anymore.....i felt like a punching bag....the things i do for rock music....especially moksha....sigh!

apart from that.....hmm...nothin much actually....oh ya! we started the dead body dissection today....the one on my table had its head and neck cut off cause it was sent to the dental college...we all were made to touch it and feel a few parts....it was a bit disgustin but i was llike....."sid...jackass....don be a clown...u gotta do this for like 5 yrs....bloody hell get used to it" and so i (for once) listened to that little guy inside my head and went for it...it was actually not all dat bad....surprisingly none of the girls fainted or puked(which was something i was expecting) but im not jumpin to conclusions....time will speak for itself......anyway....one promise....will post more often....until then....all u rockers take care.......and all u pop lovers go to hell!

Ouch...My head hurts....

After watching countless movies in these holidays....ive kinda become .Movies dont facinate me anymore unless its really good.and thanks to imdb.com's top movies list...i've started watchin only quality movies.....for now. last night i saw "Memento" and ouch....my head hurts.while i have some problems with this movie, make no mistake about it. for those who are serious fans of the film medium...DONT MISS THIS ONE!!!!...its a stunning original and i can think of nothing comparable.my only reservations concern whether or not a film should make the viewer work this hard to try and understand what exactly is going on.even after seeing it twice...i still have lots of questions, but i found myselfstill thinkin and wondering about it all the time.the movie is stimulating, gripping and haunting.forgot to mention the actual reason the movie is so awsome.....the entire movie is backwards!!! starts with the last scene and ends with the first...simply brilliant and original by christopher nolan.

Another really good movie i saw last week was pulp fiction.....and now im on a quentin tarantino movie watching frenzy....that guy's a brilliant director.the movie is basically a few short stories which get connected to each other during the course of the movie.the movie's got an impressive cast too.many peoply say its the best movie of the 90's.hmm....i've not really seen all the movies of the 90's but....i might agree with them from what i've seen....

the last and yet another brilliant movie is SIN CITY!!! god....what a movie....cant believe Robert Rodriguez had the guts to make a black and white movie in the year 2005!!! any comic book fan will love the movie and the whole way its done is brilliant.....credit goes to tarantinno too cause he co-directed the movie. its again just a few short stories in the dark world of sin city. but it was really good and 'MARV' was an awsome character in the movie.dont wait for it to release here cause im sure it wont because of some content. but try to watch it.

The above 3 movies are probably the best i've seen in these holidays(apart from star wars which is always no 1...) but considerin the fact that my holidays are not yet over.....i might enjoy a few more....but if i do.....u can bet ur ass you'll find my review right here.....all u people take care.....

I know its been a while since i posted.......my lazy split personality seems to be becoming my true personality!!!! anyway....last saturday was finally JRO...the rock show dat everyone's been waitin for....i had the (priviledge???) of standin at the entrance.....checkin peoples pockets for cigarettes....booze....and i even actually had to ask them if they're carrying any kind of 'dope' or 'weed'.....and then after they are checked.....i had to tear their tickets......the damn show had started....AZIZ, the inventor of the Asian Blues was majorly rockin the place with some really good music..... and i was still tearin tickets and was waitin for someone to cover for me so dat i could get a glimpse of the show......finally managed and went to look at AZIZ.....5 mins passed.....IT STARTED RAININ!!!! curses. Thankfully AZIZ was game for anything and the rain didn't seem to stop him and his punk rocker tabla player DALBIR SINGH RATAN(the guy was brilliant and still is) the show went on for like half an hour after the rain started but then it really started pouring badly and the stage started wobbling a bit and thats when aziz realised he played the right noted and communicated with the heavens in the right way....and so sadly....the show stopped. but now....new problem.

Personally i feel they should have given the above name for book 6......it kinda suits it..... so anyway....the craze is back jus so that it can go away and be back in another 2 yrs time....I heard that this book however is not as good as the previous ones......BUT WHO CARES????????? ITS HARRY POTTER AND THATS WHAT MATTERS!!!!!!!!! Its sad to hear that one lovable person in the book gets killed by another trustworthy person....sad....im writin all this cause (someone) told me about this...and thats why i have the guts now.....i recieved my copy today....should start readin it.....after i finish book 5! and then ill post my personal review of the book....

Yesterday i pulled a muscle in the stupid gym when liftin a few weights and my hand now aches like hell...could not even play the guitar properly...then i went out for dinner with madhuri's family and jonalthan's family.....(jonathan is a family friend from madras and madhuri is a good family friend from sri lanka).....had lotsa fun with them and proportionately hogged too.....

Gonna be busy this week...learnt sooooo much of stuff from Bruce (my guitar mentor) today.....and its gonna take me a long time to sit and practice all that....i wanna become considerably good at playin before college starts cause at least then...a few classmates and i can team up and jam together....hopefully this dream becomes reality.....hopefully....thats why i've decided to practice a whole lot whenever im free....should reap the rewards soon i hope.....

then......what else....lets see....Oh ya......i went for my skool annual day 2 days back and it was realy awsome!!! never thought it would be so much fun.....the programs sucked as usual but nobody was bothered......what was really cool was meetin my friends after 4 months....somehow it felt good....very good....should meet friends more often like that....lotsa fun.....

Thats about it for now i guess......not decided on whether i should go for annother vacation somewhere or not....should decide soon....until then....all u ppl take care.....

Now i know i promised all u people a review for "Dark Waters".....but sadly....that didn't happen. couldn't go for the movie...no company.but im not complainin cause i checked out imdb.com and very surprisingly it had a really bad rating!!! everyone was expecting quite a lot from Jenifer Connely but i dunno why she seems to have screwed up big time.

The gym seems to be gettin more and more painful for my delicate body. I think my personal trainer has something against me.HE JUS WONT LET ME GO!!!!!! worst part is.....there's this awsome sweet shop really close by to the gym and it takes me a whole lotta hard work to restrain myself from goin there after my workout and give myself up to the lord of gluttony. hopefully this "will power" of mine should pay off someday......someday.

Went for the unwind rock show today......and for the first time in my life....i really didn't enjoy myself.The first band sucked big time....second band didn't show up and so they compensated with a few guys jamming on stage.....and the third band...was hip hop.i dont have to go further to describe their sad performance.One very nice thing about unwind which always makes my day is the cafeteria....dats where i was spendin most of my time today cause i jus couldn't take the music.actually all of them played well....but not what i usually like listenin to...and thats why i thought it was crappy.Hopefully at least when college starts i should find a few rock lovers who wud gimme some company for these shows sometime.

All u Harry Potter fans out there must be waitin for midnight for "the half blood prince" to release....and most of the ppl i know have gone and pre-booked their copy. For my luck....my uncle from delhi is sendin me the book as a gift for no reason....its not even my birthday!! god bless all these kinda good hearted ppl....i hope i meet more of the kind.The question this time however is "whose gonna die in this book???" I was wonderin if i should find out and post it in a few days time.....BUT THEN......i realised the consequences......shruti would come home and kick my ass till im dead. thats why im not gonna take this risk.too many things at stake!!!

Anyway.....weekend approachin....lotsa stuff gonna happen......i hope.....

i got one whole month left for my coll to start which gives me one whole month more to put on weight....watch more movies....and sleep a lot more. so lets see all that happened in my summer hols....rather eventful actually.I think the best part of the hols was the time i met my life partner. she's so beautiful...such good curves....and the best part is.....she's not even indian! she's japaneese.....my beautiful ibanez electric guitar.wats life without her? i guess the most interestin day of each week is guitar class day! its simply superb to watch my instructor BRUCE keep playin every damn instrument ever created! and i started playin the drums after a looooong time again...
My vacation has been jus like november rain.....started off slow....and then was lots of fun....and now its jus down to earth frustrating!
This is really silly, but im so bored, i actually took some of my books and started studying a bit. One gr8 thing that happened to me this summer vacation was SOUTHPARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(everybody's gotta watch it!!!!!!!!!!) and sohan......thanks a million for that! myself and all the people i've introduced southpark to...will be greatful to u forever.(sohan is my cousin from bangalore by the way).
Its gettin really borin now cause some of my friends colleges have started too! no company to go and watch movies anymore.....sad.
lol! i joined a gym yesterday to lose little....actually lots of weight! i felt like a tiny little worm in front of all the hardcore body builders! Hopefully i shud lose at least a lil weight before coll opens.
Gonna see dark waters tomorrow....will post my review of the movie....i hope its good after all the hype. so till then.....everybody take care....and ill jus keep walking.....in the cold november rain.

Hey ppl! i've finally decided to start makin my life public. hmm....i cant say anything now cause its 2:05 am in the morn and it took me ages to think of a name for this site. anyway...thats that. i think ill start blogging from tomorrow. im too sleepy now....can see two keys for every letter on my keyboard. gonna hit the sack....
