Braille...
It all started yesterday when i was readin an article on Kiruba's Blog. Google celebrated Louis Braille's Birthday by changing their regular Google logo with a braille version of it. i thought it was pretty cool and was very nice of the google guys to come up with something like that. well in case some of u guys aren't aware...braille is the system with which blind people read...it works on the principle of using raised dots which represent alphabets. i've actually once seen a blind kid readin a book in braille and trust me...he was fast! Braille is a wonderful system that's changed a lot in the lives of the blind. its expanded their capabilities and possibilities and thanks to the basis of such systems....blind people even have regular jobs these days. Louis Braille invented this system way back in 1809 and its still being used all over the world even today. After i took some time off to read all about this system and its inventor. I DECIDED TO LEARN BRAILLE TOO. i know that could sound silly but i want to learn this magnificent system. took some time off and managed to get the notes and learnt a few alphabets...my dad said he'll get me a few books written in braille too...im 100% sure even if i master the system i can never do it like them...they are a lot more gifted....talented...determined and ambitious than any of us...May god bless all of them. will update on my learning status later....

yeah true! these guys and other phyically handicapped people learn certain other forms of communication which are must faster and more precise than languages!

Hey it's not silly atall! I wanted to give Braille a shot myself. And ya what Google did was pretty cool..I noticed the Braille characters as soon as i opened my homepage :) I thought it was pretty neat!

yeah i loved the google braille. good one.
mmm.. good thing that you are trying to learn it. it would be fun being able to read a book in the dark ain't it?
good luck on your attempt, do update us on how it goes.
er.. maybe you can type it in braille the next time?

absolutely,even we can giv it a try.but of course like u said we might not master it tht well as d blind ppl coz its a god gift to them....so guess ,
if god takes sumthin in return he gives sumthin too n tht wat he gives is much more ....
